The campsite offers, among other things, the opportunity to enjoy nature and the outdoors. But before doing a camping trip there are different things that we have to take into account.
The first and most important thing is to choose the destination and the place where we want to do our camping. There are two main options when it comes to camping. We can go to a camping area established as accommodation, where we normally offer different types of services, such as bathrooms and showers, or make the camping free or in private areas with a prior permit.
Currently camping free in most companies is almost totally prohibited. There is no regulation at the state level, but each Autonomous Community has its own regulation. For this reason, it is advisable, once the destination is chosen, to consult the specific regulations of the area chosen to avoid unwanted fines.
It may be useful to consult the Federation of Employers of Camping, which can provide us with specific information about each place.
Once chosen the destination and type of camping that we are going to realize we have to take into account a series of elements essential for every trip.
The first is the tent. The qualities that must be taken into account when acquiring one are the quality and resistance of their fabrics, the maximum number of occupants and the ease of assembly. Nowadays there are very easy assembly shops. If we choose a more traditional one, we must bear in mind that we will need different tools to assemble it.
Another very important element is the sleeping bag. When choosing it, you have to take into account the season of the year in which we are, and the temperature that there is at night. It is advisable to accompany a mat or inflatable mattress for comfort.
Also preparing the backpack properly is important. Check the time usually in the area chosen in advance to know what kind of clothes we should wear. We must not carry the whole wardrobe, we must wear comfortable clothes and suitable for the time that will do. Always have to wear some coat and something impermeable just in case. Also, take into account the shoes. It has to be comfortable and suitable for the field.
Do not forget to also carry everything you need to cook. Basic kitchen utensils, drinking water, canned food, a gas stove, a small fridge, utensils to wash pots and trash bags.
It is also essential kit for first aid, basic medicines and insect repellent, flashlights and batteries (click here to see), and matches.
Finally, we should not forget personal hygiene items, such as soap, towel, toothpaste and toilet paper.
Once the camping is finished we must clean well the area where we have been, and leave everything as it was.
